Victoria Vivente

Victoria has worked as a financial counsellor, coach and educator, focusing on empowering people to understand their options and then walking beside them on the path they choose. Victoria's favourite outcome is supporting someone to overcome the shame and stigma that comes from feeling they are "bad with money", and finding ways to help them change their mind.

Victoria now works in banking. Working in the Customer Advocate Office, Victoria is part of an independent team who are responsible for ensuring customers are treated fairly - however and whenever they engage with the bank. Victoria works on bringing an empathy first approach to customers, service and product design. She is well known for inserting herself into any conversation that involves customer vulnerability, and she advocates just as fiercely from inside the bank as she did when she was on the outside.

Victoria is almost finished her law degree, is a co-host on The Broke Generation podcast and runs a financial literacy Instagram, @bad.bitch.money

Her newsletter, SHAMBOLIC: Newsletter of Chaos, is a fortnightly gossip on things money, life, and her cat.

Her first book, Know Your Worth, is out now through all major retailers, published by Affirm Press.

Victoria and the team acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the traditional custodians of the land they live and work on and pay their respects to Elders both past and present. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
